Kurt Busch NASCAR

Busch was born on August 4, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada and is a member of Penske Racing and drives a Dodge sponsored by Miller Lite. Busch drove a limited Sprint Cup schedule in 2000, and that same season he finished in the top 20 in three of seven races. Busch joined the Sprint Cup series full time in 2001, running 35 of 36 races with three top-fives and six top-10s. He posted his first Sprint Cup victory at Bristol in the same year. In 2003, Busch claimed a championship by winning NASCAR’s inaugural Chase for the Sprint Cup. After missing the Chase and finishing 16th in 2006 (the second-worst season finish of his Cup career), Busch rebounded to finish seventh in 2007.

Tony Stewart NASCAR

Tony Stewart was born on May 20, 1971 in Columbus, Indiana and drives for Joe Gibbs Racing in a Toyota sponsored by The Home Depot. Stewart won five races in 2005 and led all Sprint Cup drivers in top-fives (17) and top-10s (25) en route to winning his second title in four years. His first championship came in 2002. Stewart won his first Sprint Cup race at Richmond International Raceway in September 1999. After competing the first nine years of his career in a Chevrolet, Stewart will drive a Toyota in 2008.

Kyle Busch NASCAR

Busch was born on May 2, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada and drives for Joe Gibbs Racing in a Toyota. In 2005, the rookie made the Sprint Cup Series take notice with an impressive year that saw him become the youngest winner (in September at Fontana) and finish 20th in points. He won two races, had nine top-fives and 13 top-10s to easily win rookie of the year. Busch finished fifth in the points in 2007.

Matt Kenseth NASCAR

Kenseth was born on March 10, 1972 in Cambridge, Wisconsin. He is a member of Roush Racing and driver of the #17 Ford that’s sponsored by DeWalt. Kenseth made his Sprint Cup debut in September 1998. His first victory came in 2000 in the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Kenseth won the title in 2003, the last year before NASCAR implemented its Chase for the Sprint Cup playoff format. In 2007, he finished fourth in points.

Clint Bowyer NASCAR

Bowyer was born on May 30, 1979 in Emporia, Kansas and is a member of Richard Childress Racing that drives a Chevrolet sponsored by Jack Daniel’s. Bowyer made one Sprint Cup in 2005, finishing 22nd in April at Phoenix. After an impressive first full season in the Busch Series, Clint Bowyer drove the Richard Childress Racing No. 07 Chevrolet on the Cup circuit in 2006. His best year to date came in 2007 with a third-place finish in the standings.

Jeff Gordon NASCAR

Jeff Gordon was born on Aug. 4, 1971 in Vallejo, California. He is a member of Hendrick Motorsports and driver of the #24 Chevrolet that’s sponsored by DuPont. He made his Sprint Cup debut in the final race of the 1992 season Gordon recorded his first Sprint Cup victory in the series’ longest race, the Coca-Cola 600, in May 1994. In 1995, he claimed his first of four championships. Gordon won back-to-back titles in 1997-98 with 10 and 13 victories, respectively. In 1997, at age 25, he became the youngest winner of the Daytona 500. Gordon won his fourth championship in 2001 and finished second in 2007.
